Easier Start Process for New BTR2SQL Users

Mertech’s BTR2SQL v5.1 product has been updated to make the process of getting started as a new BTR2SQL user much smoother.

First, we have revised our trial licensing terms for BTR2SQL. New users now have a fully functional license for 14 days which is available immediately upon installation, so you can get started migrating your entire application right away without having to request an expanded license.

Second, we have incorporated a “Quick Start” guide and video that helps to walk new users through their first migration with the product.

This information is accessible from the driver via the Start menu, the Help menu, and through the login dialog which is shown every time the user opens the tool.

If you have a Btrieve or a Pervasive application that you would like to migrate to an SQL database server, you can get started now by downloading Mertech’s BTR2SQL driver, which allows users of Pervasive’s Btrieve® and Pervasive.SQL® transactional engines to easily function with Oracle, MS SQL, MYSQL, and PostgreSQL databases without requiring costly and time-consuming source level changes.
