On November 13th, we continued our series of technical training sessions designed to help our customers successfully get started with our latest product, Evolution, a new cross-language integration solution for Windows developers.


With Evolution, it is now possible to create an Object Relational Model (ORM) of your existing business logic and data model. The ORM architecture opens up your application for integration with other web applications from other vendors and also makes it easier to integrate with other web development tools.


During this second training session, Building APIs Using Relational Modeling, we discussed best practices for API development using Mertech Evolution. The training session focused on taking an existing application and turning it into an ORM-based API.

    • Creating an ORM API Model
    • Dealing with localization challenges (time zones)
    • Creating and handling page based data (lists) using different techniques
