Internal Error 2343 updating or uninstalling Flex2SQL v11

A fatal error message, Internal Error 2343, was reported running flex2sql-11.0.5792.2-setup.msi. This error message displays due to a problem in one of the Mertech Windows registry key values.

The same error may be seen when uninstalling the version 11 product.


If this problem occurs:

Step one: Delete the Mertech registry key.

    • Run regedit.exe to start the Registry Editor.
    • Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMertech Data SystemsDB Drivers
    • Delete the DataFlex sub-key.
    • Exit the Registry Editor.

Step two: Uninstall your older version of Flex2SQL.


Step three: Install the new version of Flex2SQL.
