The Mertech Support Utility allows you to view and update the Mertech drivers in your VDF runtime installation.
The Flex2SQL installation wizard runs the Mertech Support Utility as the last step of the installation process. The utility lets you select the Mertech database drivers, dependencies, and help files to be installed.
The utility then locates all VDF runtimes installed on your computer and prompts you to the select runtime(s) to be updated.
The utility copies the selected files to the required VDF folders.
Mertech Support Utility is also available from the Windows Start Menu for later use, allowing you to update the drivers and help files in any of your VDF runtime folders. This is particularly useful if a version of VDF is installed after Flex2SQL is installed.
