In March of 2016, Microsoft announced the imminent release of the first private preview of SQL Server on Linux. Mertech has been actively testing SQL Server on Linux with both our Flex2SQL and BTR2SQL products and we are excited to share with you what we have learned.

We’ve been testing out using our DataFlex and Btrieve drivers with Microsoft SQL Server running on both Linux (Ubuntu/Red Hat/Suse) as well as MacOS!

We will also discuss Docker Images, an exciting technology that is finding increasing traction in the world of virtualization.
